Funny how neither one of the doctors at the cancer center used the word “cancer.” They skirted around it so delicately, but it hung there, ominously unsaid.

My Mom goes in for a bone marrow biopsy next Wednesday, but so far every test (and we have been going through a round of them, including a last-minute xray this morning that forced the cancellation of my live show again) has come back with the wrong answers.
